A purebred, she is the same strawberry blonde like her impressive
mother
Pearl.  She is a quadruplet sibling to our Easy As Pie.  Like her
sister, Peace shows improved dairy character over her dam but maintains
her correct feet and legs, strong topline, long lean neck, and stature.  As
she continues to mature, she is increasing her depth into her rear barrel,
just as her mother did at this age.

Peace had an outstanding kid year winning her dry leg at the first show
she attended and went on to be the 4th place Intermediate kid at the
2008 Nationals in Louisville.  She was part of a strong Jr Get of Sire for
Easy, winning at several big shows.

Peace kidded unexpectedly 2 weeks early in June 09 as a yearling.  We
lost her single doe kid within a couple days of birth and we just were not
able to get Peace to come into milk like we know she should have.  Her
udder was very nice (beautiful shape, high wide rear, near perfect teats
and extended fore)-- just not the capacity to be competitive yet.  We kept
milking her, plugging away hoping for her recovery and more milk for a
couple more weeks til LA.  I shouldn't have scored her as she was still not
in condition after the problematic kidding -- her overall score is lousy...
She just needs time to mature.  Right after LA, we did dry her up with
hopes of letting her recover and continue to grow.  She did just that!  She
has grown, is maturing nicely and continues to fill out and is a 2nd
freshening 2yr old for 2010.  We have a lot of hope for her as she has
matured quite a bit in a short period of time without the dual stress of
milking and growing.
